Miami is the probably the biggest seaport for cruising in the world. It has many efficient cruise terminal buildings and an international airport. It is also one of the largest cities in the state of Florida, has a subtropical climate, numerous hotels, beautiful beaches, and abundant facilities for sports and recreation. The southern end of Miami Beach, known as the Art Deco District, consists of more than a dozen restored hotels that are considered to represent the best of Art Deco architecture on display anywhere in the United States. Among the many attractions of the city are the Miami Seaquarium, the Museum of Science, and the Historical Museum of Southern Florida. The Orange Bowl stadium is the site of a postseason college American football bowl game. Joe Robbie Stadium, is the home of the Miami Dolphins American football team and the Florida Marlins baseball team. |
