5 things I love about Princess Cruises…

There’s LOTS of things I love about Princess Cruises but if I sit and think about my experience onboard my top 5 favourites are:

• Movies under the stars. Princess was the first to have this feature onboard their ships back in 2004, and now it’s one of their signature features. Relaxing at the side of the pool and enjoying one of the latest films with complimentary popcorn and a nice warm snuggly blanket is one of those moments I don’t think I’ll ever forget. There’s something extra special about sitting under the stars isn’t there.

• The Sanctuary. I mean WOW.. The Sanctuary is an exclusive adults-only retreat, the perfect place for me to relax and unwind. It truly is a unique oasis of tranquillity.

• Food & Dining onboard. I have a love for food (just ask my colleagues 😊), so good food is extremely important to me. I can highly recommend Princess for their food and attentive service in all of the dining rooms we had the pleasure of dining in. My other half has a thing for trying burgers everywhere we go, so the Salty Dog Gastro Pub was a total hit for him. My favourite was the ‘Crown Grill’. I had a cooked to order steak served with garlic and herb french fries and sautéed wild mushrooms. Absolutely mouth-watering, just writing about it makes my tummy rumble. I’ll not even mention the desserts… The ‘Crown Grill’ was also named among “Best Cruise Ship Steakhouses” by USA Today

• Entertainment. The entertainment onboard was brilliant. There’s always something to see or do. From their fantastic Broadway Shows to Magicians, Comedians and Live Music in and around the ship you’ll never be bored.

• Beverage Packages. The option to buy a beverage package was very very handy. Like most cruisers, we were trying to stick to a budget. So paying for this before we went meant we only had our shore excursions and any purchases in the onboard boutiques etc to worry about.

• I’m going to sneak one more in here…. The fact that the Silver Fox that is… Philip Schofield is their brand ambassador is something else that I love 😉
