Hawaii & South Pacific

The Pacific Ocean is vast and home to Hawaii and the South Sea Islands - a Polynesian welcome, great beaches, reefs and waving palm trees. The eight major Hawaiian islands are volcanic and as a result they all have their own unique attributes. Each offer distinct climates and attractions, exotic landscapes comprising of lush rainforests, lava deserts, volcano craters, beaches and modern exciting cities.

Hawaiian cruises are generally offered in two forms - a 7-8 night circle Hawaii cruise out and back from Honolulu or cruises from or to Los Angeles, San Diego, Ensenada or Vancouver on the mainland. Cruises from the mainland will involve four days at sea to get to Hawaii and consequently will take 10 days or more for one-way cruises and two weeks for the return voyage. Itineraries will generally tour the main islands of the group including Hawaii or the Big Island, home to three active volcanoes and black sand beaches.

Cosmopolitan Oahu, also known as 'The Gathering Place' is where you can spend your time sunbathing on Honolulu's Waikiki Beach or pay your respects at Pearl Harbour. Scenic Maui, often referred to as the Garden Island is home to the Haleakala Crater boasts dramatic cliffs plummeting into the pacific along the Kaanapali coast. It is also the most popular option for snorkelling and whale watching. The whales tend to be most sociable from November to April.
