With space for around 2,500 passengers, MSC Armonia offers a more intimate and friendly atmosphere compared to larger modern ships. The décor is stylish and inviting, creating a warm and comfortable setting for your journey.

One of the standout features of MSC Armonia is its diverse and lively atmosphere, with passengers from all over the world coming together to enjoy their cruise. The ship’s smaller size means you’ll quickly get to know fellow guests and crew, adding a personal touch to your experience. Whether it’s poolside activities, dance competitions, or evening entertainment in the theatre, there’s always something to enjoy. Families are well catered for too, with fantastic kids' clubs featuring partnerships with renowned brands such as Chicco and Lego, offering dedicated spaces for children and teenagers to have fun.

English is the primary language used on board, and communication with the friendly and attentive crew is always easy. They quickly learn passengers' names and preferences, ensuring a personalised and enjoyable experience.

Dress Code on MSC Armonia

Daytime: Casual attire is perfect for most of the cruise, including jeans and shorts in the main dining room.

Evening: On gala evenings, men are encouraged to wear a suit or a collared shirt with smart trousers, while women may opt for a cocktail dress or other elegant eveningwear. For those preferring a more relaxed dining option on these nights, the Lido buffet provides a welcoming alternative.

General Guidelines: Swimwear and bare feet are not permitted in indoor restaurants or buffets at any time.

MSC Armonia combines a friendly atmosphere with great entertainment, excellent service, and a welcoming environment for all ages, making it a fantastic choice for your next cruise.

Located on Decks 5 & 6, Teatro La Fenice hosts six different shows weekly, with two performances each night. Evenings are lively, with dance lessons, bingo, and live music in the Bar del Duomo and Armonia Lounge, while the Palm Beach Casino (Deck 6) offers gaming in a smoke-free setting. The Starlight Disco (Deck 12) keeps the party going into the early hours.

Bars & Lounges

Popular bars include the White Lion Pub (Deck 5), offering an extensive beer selection, the Red/Rum Bar (Deck 6) for Bacardi cocktails, and the Il Lido Bar (Deck 11) by the pool. The Cigar Room (Deck 5) provides a refined smoking lounge.

Pools & Outdoor Fun

On Deck 11, two pools (one family, one adult) and the Doremi Spray Park provide outdoor fun, with hot tubs and sun loungers available. Deck 13 features shuffleboard, table tennis, and a multipurpose sports court. The Top 13 adults-only sun deck (Deck 13) offers premium loungers and whirlpools for a daily fee.

MSC Armonia offers a variety of dining options to suit different tastes. Italian cuisine features prominently, and there are some standout dishes, such as a highly praised vegan burger. Pizza, available at the buffet or for delivery to your cabin, is a passenger favourite, as is the gelato bar. Dining venues include two main dining rooms, a buffet, and a speciality restaurant. Passengers with special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice, and gluten-free products such as snacks, cookies, croissants, sponge cakes, and muffins are available.

Dinner options include a variety of starters, mains such as steak, pasta, and fish, as well as daily specials and desserts. Vegan choices are also available. Who goes on MSC Cruises cruise ships?

MSC Cruises is one of the most diverse cruise lines you can sail on with a multicultural mix of Italians, Brits, Spanish, Germans and French in the Mediterranean, with more North Americans in the Caribbean (but still lots of Italians and Spanish-speaking passengers), and a big local market in South Africa and South America. You'll also come across all ages. The lively night scene means these ships work well for teens and younger cruisers, while the decent kids' clubs (particularly on the newer ships) and the clever arrangements of clustered family cabins mean a lot of families travel during school holidays.

Do I have to dress up on a MSC Cruises cruise?

Yes, a little. The usual dress code is informal during the day and smart-casual at night -- think nice trousers and shirt for men and nice pants/skirts with blouse or cocktail dress for women. There's usually one gala night per cruise, when black tie or dark suit and tie are encouraged for men, as is a formal dress for women. This is not enforced, but people do make an effort.

Is everything included on MSC Cruises cruises?

No, unless you're in one of the Yacht Club suites, and even then, not everything is included. MSC sells its cruises through a somewhat bewildering array of packages: Bella, Fantastica, Aurea and Yacht Club. All include your accommodation, meals in specified restaurants and big-stage entertainment, along with basic coffee and tea, and select juices at breakfast and lunch. Beyond that, perks and inclusions vary by which package you've purchased, with Bella having no additional inclusions and Aurea featuring unlimited beverages. The Yacht Club has the most inclusions, with extra dining venues for eating, spa thermal suite passes and most beverages (plus access to a personal butler and a dedicated Yacht Club lounge and pool).

What are MSC Cruises's most popular activities?

The action onboard an MSC ship is nonstop, with cruisers flocking to participate in pool games, sports contests, shopping promotions, trivia, karaoke and filling the nightclubs until late. On newer ships, high-tech arcade games are all the rage, including a 4D cinema, laser maze, F1 simulator and bowling. Many MSC cruisers are also just as happy to park themselves by a pool and stay there all day, and when the ship is in port, you'll find the vast majority of cruisers off the ship on ship-sponsored or independent tours.
