A Regal return to Southampton

Cruise Circle

With more UK departures and an increase in itineraries that visit Iceland and Norway, the Baltics, and the Mediterranean, cruisers asked, and Princess answered. Now offering greater choice and combinable voyages, an expanded Europe programme has just been launched for 2027 on Regal Princess, featuring 45 sailings to 54 destinations across 18 countries, running from April to August.

A Regal return

The 3,560-guest Regal Princess (more about her later) will be joining three other Princess ships in the region for a series of sailings departing from Southampton, Copenhagen, Reykjavík and Helsinki. Brand-new featured itineraries include the 49-night Northern Europe Explorer, which will sail round trip from Southampton or Copenhagen with overnights in Stockholm and Cobh, and the 64-night Ultimate Europe Journey, which will also operate as a round trip from Southampton.

More choice than ever

Whether you’re after a short 7-night sailing or a multi-week voyage, Regal Princess has a range of itineraries to suit all cruisers. From the Norwegian Fjords to the sun-drenched Mediterranean and sailings closer to home around the Irish and Scottish coasts, you can expect stunning scenery at every turn, with the highlight being a grand 64-night Ultimate European Journey.

Visit 41 ports across the Med, Northern Europe & The British Isles

This no-fly premium voyage departs from Southampton, with a couple of sea days to settle in whilst Regal Princess makes her way to Seville (Cadiz), Spain. From here, travel to classic Med hotspots like Barcelona, Provence, Florence, Ibiza and more, before heading back to Southampton and onto Brussels. Scandinavia is the next leg of your adventure, with visits to destinations across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. You’ll then witness the breathtaking Norwegian fjords on the way to Iceland, where you’ll spend a full week marvelling at the power of nature. The next part of your journey takes in Scotland’s Orkney Islands, Edinburgh, Ireland and Cornwall.

Get reacquainted with Regal Princess - a ship with something for everyone

Last seen in Southampton in 2021, it’s been a while since UK shores have been graced with the Regal Princess's presence. So, in case you need a little (re)introduction, Regal Princess made her debut back in 2014. Known for her elegant design, sophisticated atmosphere, and diverse entertainment options, she strikes the perfect balance between fun and refinement. The Piazza (as always with Princess) is the ship’s heart, a grand hub of activity spanning three decks, inspired by the vibrant squares across Europe.

Delicious dining

Onboard dining is often cited as a real highlight amongst guests, with a buffet offering tremendous variety, as well as reasonably priced speciality restaurants such as Crown Grill (steakhouse) and Sabatini’s (Italian). Plus, if you like a little splurge on holiday, the multi-course masterpiece at Chef’s Table Lumière is widely considered as money well spent.

The SeaWalk

Regal Princess is also home to the SeaWalk (a feature she shares with her fleetmate twin, Royal Princess). This 60-foot-long enclosed glass hallway juts 28 feet from the ship's edge, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed views of the ever-changing seascape.

The Sanctuary

In terms of entertainment, there’s plenty to keep you busy on sea days – especially if you opt for one of Regal Princess’s multi-week voyages. From original musicals and dazzling shows at the Princess Theatre to a Vegas-style casino, open-air poolside amphitheatre, Lotus Spa and adult-only retreat at The Sanctuary, the list goes on.
