P&O Cruises
There’s a whole roster P&O cruises have worked with over the years, each contributing something special, including; Multi-award winning singer, songwriter and producer Gary Barlow (from the band Take That) taking on duties as ‘Musical Director’, TV Wine Expert Olly Smith (‘This Morning’, ‘Saturday Kitchen’) guiding creation of the ‘Glass House’ wine bars, and Alex James (ex-bassist for British indie band Blur) supplying specialist cheeses!

Princess Cruises are running their Encounters with Discovery™ at SEA speaker programme this summer. Working in partnership with Discovery Channel celebrity speakers include; Warwick Davis – famous British actor known for his roles in Ewok Wicket in Star Wars and Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films, Dame Kelly Holmes MBE – British icon and double Gold medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics Game, Dwain Chambers – British track sprinter and one of the fastest European sprinters in the history of athletics and Simon Weston – Former member of the Welsh Guards, known for his charity work and recovery from severe burn injuries suffered during the Falklands War.
MSC Cruises
In a relationship spanning 20 years, the iconic actress Sophia Loren is Godmother of the MSC Cruises fleet, christening most of their ships and bestowing a touch of classic Hollywood glamour upon them.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Breaking through with worldwide pop success around 2009-2012 the Miami born rapper Pitbull was made Godfather to the Norwegian Escape in 2015. He’s not quite widely recognised these days, but he’s still known for high-energy entertainment, and it seems they wanted a personality to match the ship's!
Royal Caribbean
And lastly our favourite – 80s music legend Bonnie Tyler was invited onboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of The Seas in 2017 to perform her classic ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ in celebration of the great American eclipse - the celestial event seen across multiple states of the USA. Genius.
