Cunard are delighted to announce that they will officially name their newest ship, Queen Anne, in a spectacular ceremony in Liverpool on Monday 3 June 2024, during her British Isles Festival Voyage.
Guests on the voyage will have an exclusive chance to be part of a unique event in Cunard’s history that will include a host of surprise celebrations at Liverpool’s world‑famous Pier Head, with the original iconic Cunard Building at its heart. An impressive line‑up of eminent entertainers will give unforgettable live performances surrounding the official naming as Queen Anne makes her maiden call into Cunard’s spiritual 
home.

Making Cunard history

The 14-night British Isles Festival voyage will depart Southampton on Friday, 24 May, with maiden calls to Greenock, Belfast, Cork, and Liverpool and a programme of exciting onboard experiences that showcase the best of Britain and Ireland's shores. Hosts for the momentous occasion will be the much‑loved UK TV personalities Matt and Emma Willis.

During this incredible naming ceremony voyage, guests can experience the richness and wonder of the British Isles incredible shores, including bustling Belfast, majestic Highland cliffs and Scottish cities. They’ll be among the first to experience our new Queen on this extraordinary voyage while revelling in an onboard experience that showcases the best of Britain and Ireland's shores. You could meet well-known performers from Britain and Ireland during an exclusive programme of dazzling entertainment. Enjoy ‘In conversation with’ Insights talks with expert guest speakers, celebrating the rich heritage and natural wonders of the British Isles. Or perhaps you’ll attend dazzling Gala Evenings and celebration dinners, which Cunard have created especially for this voyage.

Marvel at Scotland's majestic Highland cliffs, charming villages, and historic castles during spectacular port calls. Maybe you’ll visit the world-famous Highland Park Whisky Distillery in Kirkwall or head into Edinburgh from Newhaven and get lost in the magical winding streets of the iconic Scottish capital. As you glide through the Inner Hebrides, the verdant Isle of May provides opportunities to spot grey seals, dolphins, and minke whales against a backdrop of lighthouses and ancient ruins. Further along the rugged cliffs of the storied Isle of Skye await, as does Bass Rock’s astonishing seabird colony hosting over 150,000 gannets—cruise through the Irish Sea to charming Cobh’s classical Victorian architecture.
