The second new build from U.K. cruise line Saga Cruises will launch in summer 2021 and will be a sister to Spirit of Discovery, which is set to launch the year before. The 999-passenger, all-balcony ship will replace one of the exisiting fleet -- Saga Sapphire -- which will leave the fleet in April 2020 and will by that time will be almost 40 years old.
Saga has not released many details on the ship except that it will be "similar in external design" to its sister.
It is being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany.
From live bands and classical recitals, to guest speakers and cabaret shows, Spirit of Adventure's main lounge is the place to take your seat in the evenings and enjoy an ever-changing programme of colourful entertainment.
Spirit of Adventure will double Saga's range of speciality restaurants at sea. Unlike most cruise lines, all her speciality restaurants are free-to-dine, with no extra surcharges or supplements to pay.
In addition to the main Dining Room, guests can look forward to complimentary dining in Khukuri House, the world’s first Nepalese restaurant on the ocean wave, along with Amalfi, serving high-end Italian cuisine. There is also the Supper Club, a steakhouse and live entertainment venue.
Just like her sister ship, every cabin on Spirit of Adventure has a private balcony as standard. Spirit of Adventure’s bold and contemporary look is being masterminded by top British design agency AD Associates, whose talented collective boast an impeccable travel and hospitality portfolio.
